Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Quartz Eon collects, why, who can see it and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to run the marketplace, and we do not sell your data.

1. What we collect

• Account details: your email address, and if you log in with Google, the name and email Google shares with us. Sellers also give a store name, store address, logo, contact links and a password (stored only in scrambled, hashed form).
• Orders: what you bought, the price, the date, the order status and what was delivered to you (for example a VPN link or login).
• Payment slips: the transfer reference and the slip photo or PDF you upload. A slip can show your name, bank and account details.
• Seller details: bank account details for receiving payments, availability hours, a connected Telegram chat, VPN panel settings and store fee slips.
• Technical data: basic logs kept by our hosting providers (such as IP address and browser type) for security, and a few settings saved in your own browser (for example light or dark theme and your log in session).

We do not see or store your card details or online banking passwords. Payments are made in your own bank app or at your bank.

2. How we use it

• To create and secure your account and to log you in.
• To process orders: show the seller your order and slip, let them confirm payment and deliver the product to you.
• To send messages about your account or orders, such as log in links, and alerts to sellers and the site owner (by email or Telegram).
• To review sellers, handle complaints, prevent fraud and keep the site safe.
• To meet legal duties.

3. Who can see your data

• The seller you buy from sees your email, the order and the slip you upload, so they can check your payment and deliver. Sellers must use this only for your order.
• Customers see a seller's store name, logo, contact links and, at checkout, the seller's bank details for payment.
• Quartz Eon (the site owner) can see orders, slips and accounts to run and protect the marketplace.
• Service providers that run parts of the site for us: Supabase (database, accounts and file storage), GitHub Pages (website hosting), Google (Gmail for email, and Google sign in if you choose it) and Telegram (order alerts to sellers and the owner). Their servers may be outside Sri Lanka.
• Authorities, when the law requires it or to stop fraud.

4. How long we keep it

We keep account and order records while your account is open and for as long as needed for disputes, fraud checks and legal duties. You can ask us to delete your account; we will then delete or anonymise your data unless we must keep some of it for those reasons.

5. Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access is limited by account, so customers see only their own orders and sellers see only orders for their own store. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password and keep your log in links private.

6. Your rights

Under Sri Lanka's Personal Data Protection Act, No. 9 of 2022, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, or to withdraw consent where we rely on it. Email quartzeon@gmail.com from your account's email address and we will reply as soon as we can.

7. Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies. The site saves your log in session and a few preferences in your browser so it works properly. Fonts and logo images are loaded from Google Fonts and the jsDelivr CDN, which can see your IP address when they send those files.

To count page views and check site speed we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It does not use cookies or local storage, does not track you across sites and does not build a profile of individual visitors; we only see totals such as page views, countries and load times. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

8. Children

The site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
